New Ash Glaze

My newest ceramic works are finished, and I couldn't be happier with them. They feature a unique ash glaze, which I've formulated using wood ash from my own fireplace. Ash glazes are a time-honored tradition in East Asian pottery, particularly in Korea, China, and Japan, and they're known for producing exceptional natural variations and depth. I'm currently teaching these techniques in both 4 and 8-week intensive courses, held right here in Barcelona.
